Jenna Rene Voorhees

Jenna graduated from St. Mary's College of Maryland in the Spring of 2008 with a degree in Vocal Performance and moved to Beverly in early September. Although she has formal teaching in classical music, she has sung and can coach anything from Broadway show tunes to Jazz standards to folk music.
In addition to several jobs and internships in music and music ministry, Jenna has earned ratings of "Excellent" in both All-County and All-State vocal competitions and a Vocal Scholarship from St. Mary's College of MD. She was a finalist in the Washington Post Music & Dance Scholarship Awards and has travelled and performed with several accomplished choirs.
Two summers ago, Jenna spent two weeks in Italy for the Alba Music Festival with the St. Mary's College of Maryland Chamber Choir, where she performed along side several international orchestras and attended master classes with world-class musicians. Along with her role in the choir, she sang with the jazz band and performed solos for student recitals.
Jenna's many roles and solos include the alto solos in Handel's "Messiah," and Mozart's "Mass in C Major" and she has played Emily Arden in "State Fair," Dulce in "The Boyfriend," Mother Superior in "The Sound of Music," and "July" in Annie.
